Aaron Briscoe
Aaron Briscoe
Originally from the east coast, Aaron began his career in the computer industry following college. Very soon, it became clear that computers were not where his passion laid. Having spent over 12 years training and teaching in the Martial Arts, he decided to pursue a career where he was allowed to grow and help change people through his knowledge of the body and the mind. Aaron is certified with the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a personal trainer as well as completed the Fitness Specialist program at Mission College.
Once in the Bay Area, Aaron began training in Muay Thai where he fought a few semi-amateur bouts and then became a Junior Instructor at a local gym. Part of what Aaron has learned in his years in the martial arts is the connection between the mind and the body in order to truly facilitate change in a persons life. Martial Arts conditioning and training, especially in Muay Thai, can be intense and therefore, strength of mind is important. This has led to his philosophy of strength in mind, body, flexibility, and movement.
Aaron has trained people of all ages with this philosophy, knowing it is more about the will than the physical ability which will help clients to their goals. He also incorporates techniques of joint mobility, myofascial release, kettlebell and clubbell training, and total body integrated strength training.
